The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) under the Union Home Ministry has sought applications for recruitment to constables in various trades. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official SSB website www.applyssb.com. Online applications have started from 29 August 2020 and will be open till 27 September 2020.
According to the vacancy circular issued by SSB (No.338 / RC / SSB / Combined Advertisement / CTs / 2020), through this recruitment drive temporary basis for the posts of Constable Tradesmen in Driver, Carpenter, Plumber, Washerman, Barber and other trades. But a total of 1522 vacancies are to be filled which can be continued later.
Selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs 21,700 - 69,100 under Level 3.
Constable (Driver) - 10th pass and valid heavy vehicle driving license from a recognized board.
Constable (Lab Assistant) - 10th pass with Science subject and a certificate in Lab Assistant course.
Constable (Veterinary) - 10th pass with science subject from a recognized board or university is required.
Constable (Aya) - 10th with science and a certificate of passing first aid examination from Red Cross Society or midwife in related field and 1 year experience.
Constable (Carpenter, Plumber, Painter and others) - 10th pass in related trade and two years work experience or one year certificate course in ITI or two years diploma and must pass trade test.
